Fundraising Terms of Service
1. Description of Service
KettleCornFundraising.com is a fundraising platform intended for use by non-profit organizations, schools, and student organizations in the El Paso region owned by Aloha Fun Foods. Fundraising participants are allowed to sell and advertise our products and service as a means to raise funds for their cause. All fundraisers profit 50% of total sales generated from their fundraising efforts. Fundraising may be done in person or online, so long as they are in compliance with local authorities and their governing departments.
2. Online Fundraising
Aloha Fun Foods offers online, virtual, contactless fundraising for its participants. Fundraising accounts are given a personalized fundraising link directing their supporters to our website. Our tracking software then records all sales generated from their fundraising link. The participants have access to their fundraising sales and earnings when they log in to their account or when they download the fundraising app on their phone. Aloha Fun Foods then handles the customer support for the buyers and handles the contactless shipping of all purchases on behalf of the fundraising participants. In short, fundraisers promote and sell kettle corn online; we handle the shipping of product, customer support, and distribution of funds.
3. Eligibility
All fundraisers are subject to review by us. Fundraisers are only intended for use by eligible organizations such as schools, student organizations, and nonprofits. In compliance with Texas Independent School Districts, all school related fundraisers must submit a fundraising approval application to their corresponding accounting department and must wait for approval before they begin their online fundraiser.
4. Payment Method
Aloha Fun Foods offers payment via Check or PayPal. By default all fundraisers are paid via Check, but fundraisers have the option to choose the method of payment that works best for them so long as they comply with the rules and regulations of their governing department. Any organization that is a part of a Texas Independent School District is not allowed to receive their funds via PayPal, therefore their fundraiser earnings will be submitted to their corresponding accounting department via Check in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Independent School District. Checks issued to schools will be delivered to their accounting department in person but may be mailed instead in observance of COVID-19 updates from the school district.
5. Fundraising Timeline / Payment Period
Participating organizations are allowed to fundraise and promote their link indefinitely. Payments are distributed monthly during the first week of each month. All organizations that are a part of any Texas Independent School District can only fundraise for up to 30 days (or however many days are permitted by their accounting department). At the end of their fundraiser their fundraising account is closed, proper paperwork/documentation is submitted, and a check is issued to their corresponding school accounting department within 7 days after their fundraiser has ended.
6. Incentives and Rewards
Upon request Aloha Fun Foods may provide additional incentives for organizations to help boost morale and participation for their fundraiser. Incentives and rewards must be in compliance with their school's regulations.
7. Customer Service
As part of our service, Aloha Fun Foods offers extensive 24/7 support for their fundraising participants. We offer coaching, video training, and any additional support necessary to aid our fundraising participants. Aloha Fun Foods handles all customer support for the buyer; any complaints, questions, concerns, or refunds are handled by our office. Additionally we handle the shipping of all kettle corn sold and distribution of funds so that your organization doesn't have touch any product, handle any money, making this fundraiser contactless for students and teachers.
8. Fundraising Profits and Refund Information.
Your organization earns 50% commission for the total purchase amount (excludes tax and shipping). Shipping and delivery is charged to the customer. Additionally if a buyer requests a refund, that refund is paid by Aloha Fun Foods and is not deducted from your fundraiser earnings. Aloha Fun Foods will assume the cost of refund so that your organization maintains a profitable hassle-free fundraiser.
9. Misuse and Termination
Any registered organization using our fundraising platform in a way that scams buyers or misrepresents their cause is subject to termination. Any such illegal activity will be reported to local authorities.
